Role Description
This position goes beyond standard delivery work. As a Delivery Driver / Merchandiser, you will be responsible for delivering PepsiCo products to customer accounts while also completing merchandising tasks inside retail locations.
During periods of lower delivery volume, driving hours may be reduced and replaced with merchandising duties to maintain consistent weekly hours. The role offers strong income, physical activity, and the opportunity to develop a broader skill set within PepsiCo’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain positive relationships with customer accounts as a PepsiCo representative
Deliver products accurately and according to scheduled routes
Unload products following customer and safety requirements
Process invoices and complete daily account settlements
Stock, rotate, and replenish products at customer locations
Merchandise products according to company standards
Build in-store displays and set up promotional materials
Complete required delivery and merchandising documentation
Perform all duties safely and in compliance with transportation regulations
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Ability to lift and carry loads up to 50 lbs on a repeated basis
Comfort with physical labor, including unloading and merchandising
Ability to maneuver large loads using equipment and manual handling
Exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions
Safe operation of vehicles and equipment in difficult road conditions
Typical workdays range from 8 to 10 hours
This is a physically demanding role and is not suitable for light-duty driving preferences.
Job Requirements
Valid Class 1 BC driver’s license
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
Clean and safe driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
High level of physical fitness and stamina
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
