Job Description
As a Security Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the security, safety, and presentation of the shopping centre and its associated areas. You will act as a visible point of contact for visitors, ensuring site procedures are followed and client expectations are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre and surrounding areas
Assist visitors with a friendly, professional, and helpful approach
Ensure public areas, service yards, toilets, common spaces, and back-of-house areas are secure and well maintained
Secure the Centre Management Office and related facilities
Follow all site-specific security procedures and protocols
Report incidents accurately and in a timely manner
Deliver service standards that exceed client expectations
Candidate Requirements
Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Previous security experience is an advantage but not essential
Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated, confident, and professional attitude
Flexible and supportive team-player mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong organisational skills and task prioritisation ability
Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
